For a While I was experimenting with AI to assist me, and I did post a lot of pictures when I used part of it in the process, for reference it was mostly using NightCafe to Assist as it allows you to place in a starter image and go from there But... It got hollow pretty quickly, sure I could adjust using the 20% or 30% Noise modifier to create some truly cool things.. but.. It didn't feel that satisfying after a while.. Sure it was new and exciting, and I could create stuff in minutes as opposed to hours.., but.. a lot of the time it wasn't truly me doing a lot of the work.. And.. yeah I am going to say I started to feel like a bit of a fraud.., Sure I know a lot of the community frowned upon it.., and them saying that it wasn't art isn't strictly true, sure it's art.. but most of the heavier lifting is done by a computer.. Will I ever use one again?.. I am not sure.., probably not.. I will however take from it a little bit of inspiration, because it shows you that with a bit

I know this is going to be a bit of a rant.., but.. I will back this up with relevant points for consideration, so think of this as a factual rant if you will Ok, so I come from a much older generation of roleplayers, people that have been around for years and years and have seen the hobby become more and more mainstream, whereas in my day it was considered uncool and you were a geek / nerd for doing it. Recently I have been joining Discord groups that have been generally made up of younger people (Yes this has pitfalls), and often I am seen as a bit old or not able to gel as well with them, and fair enough if that was the actual case. But I got kicked from a group with no reason as to why, I had mentioned that due to my real life work commitments that I would now struggle to make games, and that certain days would always be off limits as I would if I could run my own games on those days (To which the people who I do run for, I am trying to fix this still) So.. I wasn't planning on posting this originally.., heaven knows I try not to get political at times but.. this.. is something I now have to do.. There has been a lot of debate about AI art and how the artists that create using it are labelled as "NOT" Artists.. because it's only just pushing a button.. That's not exactly true, and anyone that's ever had to use a AI Generator will tell you.., AI programs are as a rule really finnicky and problematic, they use a hell of a lot of ram and more often than not they produce what could be considered "Meh" class artwork. That's not to say they cannot make something spectacular, but often it takes around twenty attempts to get anything Half Decent. And now we get to the Haters, the people who post comments such as "Your Using an AI" or "Real Nice for just pushing a Button" and to those people I say, you're so very wrong.. If all it took was pushing a button then often this site would be blitzed with massive amounts of randomly generated Art..
