So.. I have started running games again, for a while I had lost the feeling to and it didn't help that a lot of previous tries had ended in things going wrong
Originally I had started running a 13th Age game for people I was playing Guild Wars 2 with.. this however lasted one session.., with then Guild Wars and real life bringing it to a crushing end.
However the idea was still there.. but how should I go about this?.. I had been warned off by a fellow GM people might know called Tommahkun generally saying that most people on the internet are toxic.., And.. while in his circles this might be the case I was determined to prove to a degree that this could be wrong
And so I advertised on Roll20, and while it took longer than I expected, I am now in the 2nd Week of a Grand Campaign, a lot of the previous campaign I had planned can still be used, so I have roughly around 7 weeks worth before I start needing to actually do a lot of work.
Not that I generally rest on my laurels, I have also been talking to various ladies on discord and... I might have found my muse again, this really does fill me with a certain degree of happiness and hope, something that I had been missing in my life for a while now, so what does this mean for the future?
Well.. it means I will likely start writing, doing art and generally being more productive.
Plus I still have a free slot available in the campaign I am running and while it might be wrong of me, I honestly hope that we might get interest from a female gamer.. given the party is all men so far.. and, usually a girl can bring a lot of sense to the table.
Still I am not knocking the players I have, so far we have a crazy more lizard than man, a Human Druid cursed to take the form of a wolf, a Dragonborn Necromancer with an unhealthy (Probably for him) desire to want to steal as many bones for his creations as possible, A forgeborn looking for his creator or people (Probably have fun with this), a Dark Elf Ranger... the player has been a little quiet.. but here's hoping, and finally what might have just taken the spot for the funniest player I have ever known.. A dwarven cleric with a brooklyn accent and a flair for wanting to cash in good deed for future gain..
So they have headed back to the town of Harrowdale, what awaits them?.. I'm not telling..
